An efficient water heater which can be fired using waste material and wood. This one of a kind product makes sure transportation is easy by separating the tank and stove units.

We call it a wood fired water heater. It is a tunnel design water heater that incorporates a 530 litre hot water storage tank. It only takes a two and half – three hours for the 530 litres of water to be very hot.

The heat from the fire passes through the storage tank, with a simple steel tubing and heat diffuser system to extract as much heat as possible from the fuel.

The hot water storage tank is well insulated and water is still warm 24 hours later.

The unit has these additional features.

1. Fire tray. A removable fire tray helps with laying material for starting the first fire and then ensure air flow to keep it going
2. Air flow. An opening, perforated fire door and rotating disc control air flow into the fire tunnel.
3. Ash management. An iron rod poker with a hook at one end is supplied to help manage the fire and its ash.
4. Cleaning. An ash scraper is supplied for clearing out all ash after boiler use.
5. Insulation. Both the boiler unit and storage tank have removeable insulation jackets. Insulation is high density non-absorptive foam rubber and an outer PVC cover.
6. Ladder. The unit is supplied with a removeable ladder to help with assembly and maintenance.
7. Transport. The storage tank dismantles from the boiler unit for transport.
8. Paint. All steel items are painted with red oxide undercoat and enamel topcoat.
