Description

The Institute of Accountancy Arusha will conduct a short course on MODERNIZING HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, from 28th June to 1st July, 2021 at the premises of Institute of Accountancy Arusha – Njiro Hill.

 

The details of the course are as follows:

 

1.0   COURSE OVERVIEW

The human resources process is understood as unfolding of the procedure, whose main activities involve planning, recruitment, selection, socialization, training and improvement, performance evaluation and promotion, transfer, demotion in duties and dismissal. HRM modernization of axes and measures is human resources strategic management, competences magnification, the development of the electronic human resources. In today’s world striving for competitive advantage, it is necessary to follow the strategic guidelines for HRM. The importance of information technology should not be forgotten because these technologies help to combine new scientific knowledge, inventiveness, practical experience, and this combination is focused on new services and products for society.

 

2.0   LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course will enable participants to apply effectively and distinguish between traditional and modern management practices as well as to identify competencies for effective modern HR practices and leadership in the organizations through the following learning objectives;

 

(a) To understand and plan for the future needs of the workforce,which is relevant within the modern organizations.

(b) To enable Enterprises from almost every business sector to expand their HR management technology by investing in artificial intelligence.

(c) To foster better employee relationships and a greater sense of trust across the organization, and that can reduce anxiety around sensitive workplace issues.

(d) To track all employee relations through HR Technology to assure that worker treatment is  always consistent and fair.

(e) To provide greater transparency through HR Technology.

(f) To allow HR specialists to focus on individual workers which enables the HR staff to focus on employee relationships and foster the kind of trust and empathy that is critical to good people     management.

(c)  Ethical issues in HRM
(d) Traditional and modern management practices
(e) The HRM modernization objective, strategy and plan
(f)  Modern HR development strategies.

 

4.0   TARGET GROUP

The course is intended for Human Resources Managers/Officers with responsibility for transforming the HR function and officers handling particular HRM portfolios who are keen to learn modern approaches of managing people in general and the HR functions in particular as well as any other interested person.

 

5.0   FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT

The fee for the course is TZS 800,000/= (Eight hundred thousand shillings only) per participant to cover for tuition fee, training materials, tea/coffee, lunch during the course. Participants will have to arrange for their own travel accommodation and upkeep while attending the course in Arusha. Payment may be in cash, cheques or bankers draft or TISS.  Please request for control number before making any payments
