JOB ADVERTISEMENT: PWC ENGISHON FUND LIMITED MANAGER
JOB TITLE: Pastoral Women’s Council (PWC) Engishon Fund LTD Manager
REPORTS TO: PWC Engishon Fund LTD Board of Directors
LOCATION: Arusha Region Tanzania (Arusha Town and Longido District)
DURATION &HOURS: One year renewable contract (60% in the office + 40% in the field)
BACKGROUND OF PWC ENGISHON FUND LTD
PWC Engishon Fund Limited is a Microfinance Institution which was established since 2016 and registered under Companies Laws as Company Limited by Guarantee.
PWC Engishon Fund Limited is governed by the Board of Directors who are not allowed to share the dividend of the Institution, but the same should benefit more credit recipients who are the active members of Pastoral Women’s Council, a Non Governmental Organization.
The Institution received its Business Licence at the end of 2017 from the Ministry of Trade and Finance. The main sources of funds of PWC Engishon Fund Limited include Principal grant capital from development partners, credit interest and can also receive funds from other financial institutions.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of the Manager is to ensure high standards of financial credit and adherence to financial procedures and ensure effective operations of the organization.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• She/he is an in charge of PWC Engishon Fund LTD in terms of report writing and representation.
• She/he prepares and signs credit contracts between PWC Engishon Fund LTD and the clients.
• She/he will be expected to re-design loan products and advise the PWC Engishon Fund LTD clients on the appropriate loan products.
• She/he will be responsible to market the PWC Engishon Fund LTD products to the clients.
• She/he will be responsible to make intensive follow up of loans and advise the clients accordingly.
• She/he has to ensure that quarterly and annually TRA returns are remitted on time.
• She/he has to ensure that BOT’s reports are submitted on time.
• To ensure compliance with the basic standards contained in the PWC Engishon Fund LTD and development partners financial procedures guide lines.
• She/he explains billing invoices, credit details, and accounting policies to vendors, clients and other staff of the institution.
• She/he recommends, develops and maintains financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
• She/he interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• She/he develops the annual operating budget and consults with Board of Directors and other staff of the institution on the fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendations, and other administrative actions.
• Development and implementation of the strategy and approach of Engishon, formulate policies, procedures and practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic Micro-Finance and Accounting or Cooperative /Business Studies. A holder of Bachelor degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the above mentioned fields. /Professional certification (CPA (T) or equivalent may also be considered.
• Should have working experience of not less than 3 years in Microcredit institution
• Experience in project financial reporting.
• Financial literacy training techniques

• Project Planning and Management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good Communication skills
• Self-driven and self-confident
• Knowledge of Maasai Language
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft ( Sun/Word, Excel, Power point e.t.c)
