Rigor International, on behalf of a client in Karatu, is looking to recruit an Human Resources Manager whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Designing hiring plans for all hotel departments based on seasonal needs.
• Managing compensation and benefits plans.
• Overseeing employee attendance and working schedules, including paid time off, overtime and breaks.
• Interview and assess job candidates.
• Onboard new hires
• Report on employee turnover rates
• Organize employee records like contracts etc
• Identify skill gaps and schedule staff development programs accordingly
• Implement employee retention programs (like end-of-season bonuses)
• Coordinate transport and accommodation for new staff when necessary
• Act as the point of contact when employees have queries or job-related issues
• Ensure hotel staff comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements and skills
• Work experience as an HR Manager, preferably in hospitality industry
• Hands-on experience with payroll software
• Experience in full circle recruitment
• Understanding of labor legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• BSc in Human Resources or related field
• Additional diploma in Hotel Management is a plus
• Strong management, communication and organizational skills.
• High levels of integrity and self drive.
• Ability to improvise and come up with solutions promptly.
