Rikolto in Tanzania, formally VECO has worked in Tanzania for 40 years and is part of an international network of non- profit organizations working in 18 countries worldwide.
We are currently working with a score of farmer groups and organizations in Simanjiro, Mwanga, Meru, Arusha, Moshi and Babati in horticulture, pulses and grain sectors. The groups are mostly at formative or early stages of the organization development pathway. We have recently completed an assessment of the capacity gaps seven of these organization using the Scope Insight Assessment tool.
