As a Standard Assistant you are supposed to act as the support to the Company Standards Manager with an additional support role to the Field Ops assistants and ensure an efficient, friendly and timeous delivery of service. To work in conjunction with the other field ops agents and Asilia staff members.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• Assist with administration such as filing, processing invoices, LPO’s and cash imprests.
• Following up on existing orders and ensuring the delivery and quality of items.
• Liaising with suppliers and sourcing items specified by the Standards Manager.
• Travel requirement to local craft markets, suppliers and Asilia camps.
• Assist field ops in areas such as admin, procurement and logistics.
• Distributing Style & Standard related items to camps.
• Creating and updating inventory lists of style and standard items, such as furniture, décor, linens.
• Work with vendors to source and procure standards-compliant products and materials.
• Assisting with shop items – printing codes, adding price tags, packing for camps

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility and the ability to travel to camps regularly.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Detail orientated.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• At least 2 years of experience in Lodge operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
