Rivertrees Country Inn is looking for a dynamic and experienced person to take the role of Front Office Manager, based in Usa River.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define and implement operational standards within the Front Office department.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, inspect and evaluate the Front Office department.
  • Develop the skills of the Front Office team members maximising their potential whilst achieving the objectives and goals of the hotel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the competency of the Front Office staff, involving team members in setting and reviewing team and personal objectives.
  • Ensure good communication and cooperation between the Front Office department and the other departments.
  • Control costs within the Front Office department.
  • Monitor and control monthly inventory of the gift shop.

Qualifications

 

  • Outstanding levels of both written and spoken English and Swahili.
  • Diploma in Hotel Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and of Hospitality Management systems.
  • Customer care & customer service orientated.
  • Able to work under pressure, reliable, energetic and smart.
