Sumwood transformed from producing single furniture pieces to providing turnkey solutions for Hotels, Lodges, Camps, Offices and Homes. He had an opportunity to work with a great clientele and continue working with them on various projects.

Sumwood would like to recruit qualified, dynamic and ethical personnel to fill positions in the Information and communication technology with graphics designing knowledge . Applications are therefore invited from suitable qualified Tanzanians for the following positions;

2.0 POSITION: ICT AND GRAPHICS DESIGNING OFFICER

Ict officer (graphic design) FULL TIME , Industry: Computer Software , Category: Computer & IT

JOB DETAILS:

Holder of Diploma, Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Computer Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ICT systems and innovations planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities

 designing artistic graphics for promotion,

 Workshop system designing

 Website operating and social media

 Assists in designing artistic promotion material for commercial adverts,

 Assists in designing IV screen graphics

 Assists in editing video and audio promotion materials,

 Assists in producing video artistic jingles and animation,

 Assists in performing any other related duties as may be assigned by

 Providing technical assistance and support to users within the organization.

 Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems, and resolving them in a timely manner

 Assisting users with computer-related inquiries and providing guidance on technology usage

 Overseeing the organization’s local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN)

 Setting up and maintaining network equipment, such as routers, switches, and firewalls

 Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring network security

 Installing, configuring, and updating software applications used within the organization

 Collaborating with software vendors and developers to address issues and ensure smooth operation of applications

 Participating in IT projects, such as system upgrades, network expansion, or software implementations

 Planning and coordinating project activities, setting project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met

 Developing training materials and conducting training sessions to educate users on technology usage and best practices
