On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Recreation Manager

 

  • You are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clubhouse facilities such as restaurant, bar, playground, sauna, basketball/tennis court, squash court, swimming pools, gym, and all other playing surfaces.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily operations of the facility including adherence to standard operations procedures, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and the operational needs of users are┬ámet;
  • Managing the budget of the facility or program to ensure that costs are controlled while generating revenue through member fees or program fees;
  • Improve the club’s marketing strategy and innovations to increase revenue;
  • Maximize member retention by ensuring high levels of customer service, cleanliness, a variety of innovative and educational programs, continual club upgrades and responsiveness to member feedback;
  • Ensure optimum membership and monitor levels constantly;
  • Assist in planning and implementing procedures for special club events and functions;
  • Develop and organize work programs, schedules, and assignments;
  • Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments;
  • Ensure that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained;
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Respond to customer inquiries including program registrations, fee reductions and reconciling cash receipts;
  • Providing supervision and training to all new and existing staff;
  • Issue verbal warnings and executing all disciplinary action as needed;
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proven ability in managing recreational facilities and programs,
  • Good leadership and management skills,
  • Innovative in planning, organizing, and hosting events,
  • Good understanding in figures, dealing with budgets, inventory control,
  • High standards of ethics,
  • Customer oriented.
