JOB SUMMARY:

JOSERA is a famous German company specialized in production and sales of super premium pet food. JOSERA successfully exports its products to 70+ countries worldwide and has established its first African subsidiary “JOIN THE FOOD FAMILY LTD.” since 2020 with offices in Arusha and Dar es Salaam to drive its petfood business in Tanzania and other African countries.

For further expansion and consolidation of our petfood business in Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Manyara, JOIN THE FOOD FAMILY is looking for a:

Junior Sales Representative Pet Food (f/m)

Job Title: Junior Sales Representative Pet Food

Career Level: Junior

Level Reporting to: Team Leader Josera Petfood Tanzania

Job Location: Lake Zone (Mwanza, Kagera, Kahama, Geita) – 01 position

Main Responsibilities/Tasks

1. Recruiting new customers (i.e., retailers) in the region
2. Visiting existing customers, collecting orders from them and following-up the payments.
3. Stock taking, Merchandising, and conducting promotion activities
4. Developing and implementing the sales and branding strategy for JOSERA PETFOOD in the region
5. Actively supporting the customers through training of their sales staff, branding/ marketing activities, sales planning, etc.
6. Monitoring the developments of petfood market trends in the region e.g., introduction of a new product, new competitors, etc.
7. To coordinate the delivery of customer’s order in the region.

Knowledge, skills Qualifications and experience required for this role

1. Passion for dogs and cats
2. Sales and/or marketing experience, ideally in the Petfood industry
3. Professional background in Sales hence High acceptance by the wholesalers and retailers
4. Good communication skills preferably English and Kiswahili language
5. Trustworthy, reliable, and target oriented.
6. Readiness to travel regularly throughout the zone/region
7. Computer skills (MS word, excel, pp)

Job experience:

• Minimum 1 year work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in petfood

Education:

• A diploma degree in sales and marketing, a degree in animal nutrition will be highly recommended.
