MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT VACANCY (1 POST)

Salary: Tshs 4, 000,000. 00 Gross Salary

Starting: 25^th March, 2023

Duties & Responsibilities:

v  Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

v  Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

v  Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

v  Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending

v  Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

v  Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers

v  Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process

v  Provide input into department’s goal setting process

v  Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule

v  Assist with tax audits and tax returns

v  Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance

v  Plan, assign and review staff’s work

v  Support month-end and year-end close process

v  Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

v  Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures

Skills and experience:

v  CPA or above.

v  6-8 years’ full cycle experience with Accounting working papers, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, financial statement analysis

v  5 years as Senior Corporate Accountant

v  Experience in parking or property management an asset

v  Must have excellent analytical and time-management skills

v  Must be proficient with MS Office

v  Excellent written and verbal communication
