SALES & MARKETING JOB OPPOTURNITIES IN TOURISM INDUSTRY.

We are looking for a Marketing and Reservations consultant who is passionate about creating memorable Tanzania Experiences for our Clients with an extensive combination of guidance, great customer service skills, keen to details, with broad knowledge about the Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar destinations.

Job Location: Aspilia African Safaris, Arusha head office

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Building and maintaining good relationships with our safari agents.

* Preparing safari bookings, and quotes for the client.

* Dealing with all inquiries from the beginning until confirmation of the booking.

* Communicate with clients and agents via email and phone in a friendly and polite manner and give accurate and consistent information.

* Responding and handling safari agent inquiries by e-mail, converting inquiries from clients into actual sales estimations.

* Ensuring daily updates of all relevant information i.e.,

Client’s safari package, dietary requirements, allergies, pick up and drop off time to the airport(s), as well as proper handling of last minutes changes.

* Handling booking reservations/cancellations/amendments and preparing files for the Operations Department, with all correct invoices and client details

* Working closely with the operations departments.

* Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Experience & qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales & marketing and / Tour Consultant in the Tourism Industry.

* Education qualification from certificate and above in Travel & Tourism as well as marketing .

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*Extra foreign language will be an added advantage

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Excel, Word, and

Outlook).

* Great Customer Experience with Tanzanian Wildlife, and its national parks.

* Good knowledge of accommodation found in and outside the parks and their specifications.
