Description

I am a qualified with a number of years’ experience seeking contract/ part time job in accounting.

 

I am flexible and perform varied accounting functions noted hereunder but not limited to the following:

 

  • Prepare annual financial reports in accordance to standards (IFRS). These include;

Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Statement of Retained Earnings.

 

  • Prepare interim financial reports; that is monthly, quarterly and half yearly.

 

  • Maintaining and controlling debtors and creditors.

 

  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements of the company’s bank accounts.

 

  • Maintaining and updating the company’s Fixed Assets Register.

 

  • Prepare company’s monthly payrolls and ensure that all deductions in terms of advances and loans are effected.

 

  • Effecting monthly remittances to appropriate authorities of statutory deductions such as Pay As You Earn (PAYE), Skills Development Levy (SDL) and Pensions.

 

  • Maintain and monitor proper use of the petty cash fund.

 

  • Managing various aspects of bookkeeping and accounting for the co
