*Responsibilities and duties*

  • Verify all safari details including flights to ensure that they are correctly coordinated with land services booked while identifying gaps in services as a result of missed information and seek solution.
    • Ensure that all extra services are booked and paid for prior to guest arrival
    • Call/contact guest/Travel Agent to collect missing information in itinerary details
    • Prepare personalized final itinerary including flight schedule for smooth service delivery including pick up and drop off services
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of current product offerings and communicate the same to the Agent/Clients.
    • Confirm required services with Travel Agents/clients and Third Party suppliers
    • Manage all financial aspects of booking with Travel Agents/Clients as according to departures and thereafter liaise with the finance team on invoice payments
    • Assist Guest Relations on pre/post tour issues to ensure guest satisfaction is maintained
  • Maximize conversions/calls by following up on Quote/bookings in established timeframe
  • Developing sales strategies set by the company and use reporting metrics to measure, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales
    • Collaborate with Travel Agents/clients, Third Party Suppliers and other internal departments to facilitate booking processes, close sales and manage quality issues
  • Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions
    • Handle inbound calls with quality, courtesy and professionalism
    • Develop, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with all clients/Agents across the globe
    • Ensure all booking details are complete and accurate in accordance with department guidelines
    • Follow up with guests/Travel Agents on additional services and communicate them to suppliers accordingly
    • Create proposals from itinerary outline as provided from Agents/clients ensuring that inclusions/exclusions accurately reflect terms for all suppliers included in the proposal, as well as any special terms.
