Versatile GIS expert seeking new opportunities

I am a 28 years old female looking for a full time job in Arusha, where I can apply my education and extensive experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping. I am a dedicated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies and seven years of work experience, primarily as a GIS expert and a manager in a non-profit organization.

Over the course of my career, I have honed my skills in GIS and Mapping, project management, and administrative duties. I have served as a Director of Operations, Office Manager, and GIS Expert for a non-profit organization located in USA, and Arusha, Tanzania, from 2016 to 2022.

I have successfully led diverse non-profit projects, including delivering water projects to schools, benefiting over twenty-thousand children. My expertise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) mapping and project reporting has been instrumental in these achievements.

I am fluent in English and Swahili, and I possess basic knowledge of French including counting and a limited vocabulary. My proficiency extends to Arc GIS software (Arc Map, ArcGIS Pro and Q-GIS Software), Aerial Image statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) and R Studio software. I am also certified in flying drones; DJI Phantom 4 pro plus and Parrot, have excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite.

Throughout my career, I have actively participated in numerous seminars, trainings, conferences, and workshops in both Tanzania and Kenya. These engagements were instrumental in refining my skills and expertise. As a result, I have obtained certifications from reputable organizations in both countries, validating my professional development.
