The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is pleased to invite your staff to attend a short course on “CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND SUCCESSION PLANNING.” at IAA Main Campus Arusha Njiro Hill. The training will be from 8th to 12th November, 2021.

 

COURSE RATIONALE:

Career development and succession planning is very essential to the success of the contemporary organizations due to the role of developing today and tomorrow’s workforce. In order to deliver on aggressive growth plans, companies must have the right people in the right roles, an engaged workforce and a strong talent pipeline – today, and in the future.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. a) Apply and develop knowledge and essential skills to exercise Career development and Succession planning in the competitive contemporary organizations worldwide.
  2. b) Demonstrate various strategies and methodologies of reducing the rate of turnover of employees in the organization.

  5. e) Be able to identify and spot early the potential leaders and managers within the organization.
  6. f) Integrate organizations into the mainstream learning and development programs particularly, organization learning as well as learning organizations.

  2. b) Key elements of succession planning
  3. c) Processes of career planning and development
  4. d) The role of HR department and the roles of the employee
  5. e) Factors to consider in career development.
  6. f) Alignment with performance management system
  7. g) Importance of career planning and development.
  8. h) Roadblocks to career development.
  9. i) Skills and competencies needed for career development.
  10. j) Motivational factors for employees to work towards change
  11. k) Components of a staff development action plan.

 

TARGET GROUP:

The course is intended for the middle and top managers, Supervisors, Human Resource Practitioners, Non-Human Resource Practitioners as well as any other interested person from public and private institutions.

FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT

The fee for the course is TZS 1,200,000/= (One Million and Two hundred thousand shillings only) per participant to cover for tuition fee, training materials, tea/coffee, lunch during the course. Participants will have to arrange for their own travel accommodation and upkeep while attending the course in Arusha.  Payment to be made through any branch of bank agent of CRDB, NBC, NMB, BOT. Reference number (Control Number) will be shared later.
