COMPUTER FORENSICS-PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

INVITATION TO TRAINING COURSE ON
The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is pleased to invite your staff to attend a short course on “COMPUTER FORENSICS-PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE.” at IAA Main Campus Arusha Njiro Hill. The training will be from 28th August to 1st September, 2023.
INTRODUCTION AND COURSE OBJECTIVE
The objective of this class is to emphasize the importance of digital forensics, and to prepare students to conduct a digital investigation in an organized and systematic way. This course will provide theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as current research on Digital Forensics. Upon completion of the course, students can apply open-source forensics tools to perform digital investigation and understand the underlying theory behind these tool
COURSE CONTENTS
This course will cover the following areas:
- a)Overview of computer forensics
- b)Network forensic
- c)File System Analysis & file recovery-Practicals
- d)Malware forensic
- e)Information hiding & steganography
- f)Email & database forensics-Practicals
- g)Report Writing for forensics investigation
METHODOLOGY
The course will be conducted through Lab Sessions (90%), Lectures and discussions. Participants will be offered an opportunity to conduct investigation the software tools and they will also receive certificates on completion of the course.
TARGET GROUP
This course is intended for IT managers, Data/Information management officers, system administrators, police and security officers and HR managers and all the staff dealing with computer criminal investigation.
FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT
The fee for the course is TZS 1,500,000/= (One million five hundred thousand) per participant to cover for tuition fee, training materials, tea/coffee. Participants will have to arrange for their own transport, accommodation and upkeep while attending the course in Arusha. Payment may be in cash, cheques or TISS paid directly to our Bank Account No. 014103007130 in the name of Institute of Accountancy Arusha, NBC, Arusha Branch. Early registration is highly encouraged and appreciated.

This course will be conducted from 28th August to 1st September, 2023 (5 days) at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, located at Njiro Hill-Arusha .
